I can still picture the little boy, Swami! And his lovely house and village. And of course, I thoroughly enjoyed reading R K Narayan’s works. I think I might have read most of his works, except a few maybe. But that was so long ago, and I know if I were to begin reading those now I will again be hooked 🙂 One of my favourite Hindi films is also based on Narayan’s novel – The Guide.
